Visa & Passport Information

It is essential for US citizens to possess a passport, valid for at least six months beyond the date of your return air ticket. For details on how to obtain a passport please log onto https://www.usps.com/international/passports.htm or inquire at your nearest Post Office.

Always keep a separate note of your passport number, place and date of issue, or preferably a photocopy of the back pages, packed separately from your passport. It is also recommended that you leave a copy with a friend in the US and that you carry with you another form of identification (such as a driving licence). All this will be useful if your passport is lost or stolen.

US citizens do not require a visa to enter any of the countries we visit on our river cruises. However, US green card holders should check with their consulate on visa requirements for their passport. Please check carefully if you need a visa as we cannot accept responsibility for the cancellation of a cruise due to the non-granting of a visa. If you are unsure of your visa requirements, or if you are not a US citizen, please contact the relevant consulate or embassy for further advice. Visa costs are not generally included in our prices and may change without notice. Obtaining a visa is your responsibility, please do not leave your application until the last minute.
